The ring Elvis is shown wearing here is on his last tour before his untimely death in 1977. Elvis has a bandade on as the ring had a small burr inside the band that had cut his finger He returned the ring to his jeweler in Memphis after his tour but he died before getting it back. His jeweler claimed the ring had not been paid for yet so he sold it to the Nat Enquirer Magazine who later gave it away in their readers contest.
This ring was valued at $17,500. in 1977
